Club News
Well the 2011 summer waterskiing season is over and what a season it was.....Hurricane Irene struck our Sandy Hook site with vengeance in late August resulting in flooding all the way up to and into Joel's basement. After weeks of high, dirty water the club was forced to cancel 3 clinics. We did manage to hold our first "all-women's" Wounded Warrior program in late September and it was a great success! Check it out! During the fall the club did receive, through a generous donation, an out-building to house all the clubs equipment.
With winter on its way we are preparing for our 2012 Winter Snow Ski program.
We hope everybody is having a wonderful winter waiting for the warm weather to return and another great water skiing season to begin!
About the Club
The Leaps of Faith Disabled Waterskiers club is an organization, staffed by a group of over 50 volunteers, that brings water skiing into the lives of children and adults with disabilities, in addition to training disabled water skiers to compete both on a national and international level. The goal of Leaps of Faith is to build lasting confidence and fulfillment through exposure and professional training in recreational and competitive water skiing to both disabled children and adults.
Help Support the Club
We are an IRS registered 501c-3 non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of individuals and groups to provide the funding to help bring some joy to the lives of those that are less fortunate. The Leaps of Faith Disabled Waterskiers Club employs one part-time paid office worker. Unlike many well known 501c-3 non-profits, none of our Board of Directors, principles or volunteers receive any compensation.

Clinics and Events
- No prior experience is necessary to participate in a clinic
- All of the latest is supplied including;
- A 2012 Ski Nautique Tournament ski boat
- PWC for safety personnel
- Skis of all types and sizes, ie. sit skis, slalom skis, combo skis
- Wakeboards
- PFDs (life preservers) in all sizes
- Audio slalom equipment Onsite slalom course
- LOF is affiliated with USA Waterski Association
- Instructors, drivers and safety personnel have been trained by USA Waterski Association
- All programs are fully insured
